Timly Software Asset Management Solution Opens up for Iot Position Tracking Solutions
The Timly app already has GPS device localisation. Now, existing IoT solutions from third-party providers can be integrated with Timly. Vehicles and devices can be equipped with GPS trackers so that the current location can be transferred and accessed in Timly at any time.
Thanks to this integration, business customers obtain all relevant information directly in Timly and enjoy a seamless transition between applications.
For this purpose, Timly Software AG has entered into a partnership with the innovative IoT specialist adnexo GmbH from Zurich. The ax-Track solution (a map-based IoT platform for real-time tracking) integrates seamlessly with the Timly application. This benefits both solutions, which are enhanced with new functionalities. On the customer side, the data is only maintained and managed in Timly.
adnexo has several years of experience in the development of IoT solutions and offers a wide range of services in various application areas, such as for construction machinery, freight containers, haulage vehicles and other large & small equipment. Depending on the application, different transmission technologies are available, such as the very battery-saving LoRaWAN or NB-IoT, or alternatively the normal GSM mobile network.
